It made clear the aim of the American Revolutionary War's aim was for the establishment of a new nation. This document was adopted by the Continental Congress and signed by representatives from each of the Thirteen Colonies This document is one of the founding documents of the United States of America and holds within it the famous words, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." |
