Joseph Hazzard is the brother of Thomas Davis Hazzard and the reciepient of Thomas's Civil War letters. Thomas wrote to his brother Joseph throughout his service in the American Civil War from 1861-1864. Joseph lived in New York and was married to Ann Hazzard. The 1860 census lists his occupation as "book binder." |
