Description |
Mason Weems' tale of Washington and the cherry tree is delightfully recaptured in this statuette. There are variations among the recorded examples in the number of twigs and cherries at the foot of the statue. Mounted on a matching onyx plinth ringed by guilt stars, with a wreath. Carved in gilt letters is the title of the statuette. |
