Locofocos, also spelled Locofocus, Loco Focos, or Loco-focos, was a faction of the United States Democratic Party in the United States that existed from the mid-1930s to the mid-1940s. Originally called the Equal Rights Party, the Locofocos supported separating the federal government from banking, legal support for Labor Unions, and free trade. |
