Title |
Letter from Will Moore to his Mother |
Scope & Content |
Will Moore begins his October 29th letter by informing his mother that his regiment completed their march from Frederick, MD. They stopped for the night 10 or 12 miles out of Frederick at Middletown, where it was very cold and his group had to pass through the mountains. He finishes his letter on October 30th to write that his regiment marched 8 miles more and Will had picket duty. They may leave for Boonsboro, MD, but no one is certain. |
